The Collective Consciousness & The Body
Here is another wonderful Q&A session with my main spirit guide, Shihad (and all the others), on the connection between our physical, mental, spiritual wellbeing and the collective consciousness. I felt inspired to continue the direction of my previous two posts, this one taking a further step out and focusing on the collective.
The first thing I saw when I sat down was a gray cloud/fog over humanity. Being in the US, I saw it over this nation, but it is representative of the world. This is the collective consciousness - hovering over us, clouding our vision, limiting our view of what’s really there.
What is the collective consciousness?
The collective consciousness can be defined by the level of awareness of the collective (whether nationally, globally, regionally, etc.), and people's beliefs have a huge impact on that level of awareness, if not the biggest impact. Beliefs include everything from what you've been told, taught, experienced, or adhere to from a cultural or religious perspective. Most of the population has a low level of consciousness. They largely adhere to the beliefs and opinions of those around them, and fear of losing their safety net or social safety net is what keeps them stuck. It's nothing to be ashamed of, but if you are reading this, you can question your beliefs. You can ask yourself where you get it from and why you believe it so.
People make the mistake of thinking of the collective consciousness at only a spiritual capacity. This further drives the belief that the soul and body are separate. The soul only ever fully leaves the body upon death. Body and soul are never separate while alive, even when the larger part of you sits outside what you call the physical body. That soul aspect of you is the real you. The mind part of us that we use to think and label everything is only a small part of you solely to function as a human on Earth during this lifetime.
So what does that have to do with the body?
I’ll get to that in a moment but first want to illustrate some experiences people may face regarding the collective consciousness. Sometimes it may seem like you're sick or feeling off but it's not you; it's either the body being affected by the shifts on Earth and/or the body trying to catch up to those changes. Shifts on Earth include changes in the collective consciousness, which emits an energy. Other times it's the body trying to improve immunity to prepare for the new environment. This doesn't mean that the environment we’re headed towards will be ravaged by disease, quite the opposite actually. The dimensional changes of Earth and the collective consciousness increases the sensitivity in people. People will be more aware of abnormalities in the body. So while it may seem that you are feeling off more often, it’s really you just noticing it more often.
Taste palettes change for the better, and by that, I mean dietary changes. I’ve personally experienced this, and even more intensely in the past year. I grew up eating a very poor diet - Pop Tarts for breakfast, school lunches, Nutty Buddies for snacks, chicken nuggets for dinner. Anyone else remember $0.39 cheeseburger-Sundays at McDonald’s? I was overweight and obese throughout my childhood and into early adulthood. To compare my diet now to then, it’s completely different. The weight loss came first through dietary changes and my diet continued to change throughout the years but this past year, my sensivity to how different foods affected me physically, mentally and my mood was heightened. I haven’t used oil in cooking in over a year, I can’t consume processed foods (especially those high in sugar or fat) the way I used to as a kid - my stomach will either reject it or be in pain. Sugary drinks will literally roll in a fog in my head. The highlight of all this: I don’t even want those things anymore. The desire for them has practically disappeared - my palette has changed without me having to force myself into changing it, and in alignment with my own spiritual growth. I crave lighter foods instead: fruits, veggies, rice, oats, etc.
Most people are unaware that they may be feeling other people's impulses. If a group of people see something worrying and they all start holding that vibration, people who haven’t seen that worrying thing can feel unexpected anxiety or fear, seemingly out of nowhere. They often confuse this with intuitive forewarning. People need to distinguish their own emotions from that of others. One way to tell the difference is to question where it’s coming from. If you can’t pinpoint something that triggered it in you, it may not be yours. Everything is vibrational, including the body. You can feel stress from everyone over the things happening in the US and around the world. I’ve personally felt pressured when things happen in the US that have brought tense emotions in people. The downfall to those unaware? They hold onto the negative emotions, and it gets stored in the body, which can cause sickness.
The systems in place contribute to the collective consciousness.
There are multiple systems in place that contribute to the collective consciousness. The medical and pharmaceutical industries control one end, big (food) corporations on the other, and emotional manipulation (especially through social media) on the third. The food industry makes processed foods addicting (sugar + fat), while the medical system does not treat the addiction but throws you to the pharmaceuticals that just get you on lifelong medication, and the food industry continues to make money off the addiction. Add social media to the mix and you get a society that's too distracted to make any change. Even those "awake" are more interested in consuming information rather than making any real change. They fail to realize that stripping away information and beliefs will take them further along. Have you ever wondered why people eat horribly when they know what they should be eating? Why are medical students not taught to heal through nutrition? Why have we come to prescribe medication after medication, instead of opening to alternative, holistic methods?
These systems feed into the collective beliefs, if not outright define them. Remember that the collective consciousness includes the collective beliefs. This can be anything from an industry promoting sugar-free soda as a healthy alternative to blindly believing anyone with credentials at the end of their name. Those that don't believe them are labeled as crazy or a conspiracy theorist. Physicians and other medical professionals that provide alternative methods are often threatened in one way or another (e.g. license suspension, insurance not covering the service, etc.). A threat to one’s livelihood or social safety net is often enough for people to continue living within the current fog of the collective consciousness. Despite the increased reliance on professionals, people are getting sicker and sicker.
Back to: what does any of this have to do with the body?
With those systems laid out, it’s easy to pinpoint how they keep us sick, but what has this got to do with the collective consciousness? Another reminder that everything is vibrational - including our beliefs, our bodies and the energy the collective consciousness emits. When you believe something negative, you hold that lower negative frequency and attract that which you're trying to avoid. For example, if you're sick and you think you won't get better without certain medication, that vibration will only match the vibration of 'needing medication to improve'. Those who get sick and think it's nothing, often recover far faster and without medication. When we believe there’s no cure for a specific disease or that there’s a lack of health care access, we continuously get lack of health and no cures. Like attracts like - the same frequencies will find each other. On top of this, science loses sight of the non-physical, memories, feelings, traumas, etc. When it disregards these things, we put ourselves in a cycle of suppressing the symptoms but never fully healing.
The consumption of medication does not manifest healing; the medication just gives the consumer the illusion of healing and then they start believing and their bodies take them the rest of the way. It is possible to not need medication. Belief has more of an impact than medication itself. People can get off routine medications when their beliefs align with the power of their mind and the body's ability to take care of itself. Yet people don't believe it's possible because it's "too easy" and think it would have been done before. But if I say I healed myself, most wouldn’t believe me anyways. The belief comes first then the result, but most people live the reverse. What about emergency medicine? Emergency medicine is the least of anyone's worries since it's rarely needed. The average person does not need emergency services/medication on a routine basis.
I’m not here to bash medicine. It has its use, especially during time constraints. But why not address what caused the pain/illness in the first place? If it's poor diet, change the diet. If it's stress, address the stress. The stress doesn't disappear on its own but also gets lodged elsewhere in the body. Same with traumas, anxiety, and fear. If the core issue of what's causing pain or sickness is not addressed, they are never truly healed. It will just resurface repeatedly overtime, and sometimes in a different form. In some cases, the pain becomes chronic and medication that initially covered the pain no longer suffices. There are many people who healed using nontraditional methods, but their stories often get thrown into a miracle bucket or disregarded simply because it's contradictory to the collective belief (rather than question the collective/their own belief). Miracles can be the norm.
Can you change your own beliefs despite what the collective believes?
You do not need for the collective to change their beliefs and opinions for you to change yours. The collective consciousness will only change as individuals take up the courage to change themselves. That is sometimes hard to do if fear of what others will think starts blossoming, but small steps can open the door to bigger change. People can break away from adhering to the collective consciousness by changing their own beliefs. So how do we go about doing that? Start questioning why you believe what you do and see if you can open up to a different perception. If you’re sick from the flu, is it possible for you to be open to the possibility that you can heal yourself just fine? Is it possible for you to consider that a warm bowl of rice cooked in broth is just as effective as medication? As you start opening up to changing your beliefs, you’ll also start seeing it reflected in your life. Some people are forced to look for options outside what they’ve been told (and thus given the opportunity to change their beliefs) because it hasn’t been helping, or they get the runaround. I have been in situations like this, turned towards holistic methods and yielded better results.
parting thoughts?
Lastly, here are some last tidbits Shihad wanted to reiterate to everyone who has made it this far:
You have more power than you think.
It's not all doom and gloom.
Spiritual growth is a part of it.
You are love at the core so do not forget to emulate that.
Listen and respect your body (listening does not mean covering the pain so you can move on/ignore why it was there to begin with).
Our bodies are great indicators [in pain/discomfort] of something we're holding (a belief, thought) that is untrue.
