Other Than Meditation

My past three posts have repeatedly highlighted vibrational frequencies of our bodies, the foods we eat, the collective consciousness and their relationship to health and healing. When I sat with my spirit guides, a lighter idea flowed through and felt perfect. I want to dedicate this post on how to raise your vibrational frequency and get you closer to the high frequency of healing. Everyone and their mother (and grandmother, and great-grandmother) knows the importance of meditation. There are countless articles online (and offline) on the benefits of meditation, both physically and spiritually, so I won't be going into it here. Here are 15 easy, everyday activities and practices that can help raise your frequency, from my guides to you - other than meditation.

1. Bless Your Water (and Food)

If you haven't heard of the rice experiment, I highly recommend looking into it. Blessing water crystallizes it and changes the chemical composition into something more pure. It can even taste different, which I can personally attest to. Consuming blessed water and foods are like consuming love and cleanses your body with more potency. How do you bless water and food? You can either hold the cup, jar, plate, etc. (or hover your hand over them) and speak words of love and gratitude. This doesn't even need to be done out loud. You can also do this while prepping food!

2. Walking Barefoot Outside Directly on Earth

Walking directly on the earth (not on cement or paved roads) rebalances the equilibrium of the body, reduces back pain, reduces stress, helps rebalance the mind and spirit (less mind and more spirit), and in most cases, the oxygen outside is better than the air inside barring that the air quality isn't horrible.

3. Touching Trees

Whether you want to sit among trees in the forest or lean against the one in your backyard, trees have healing properties. They're also stress reducers, harmonizers, help ground you, and in some cases increase the receptivity of psychic channels.

4. Playing With Animals

Playing with our furry friends, especially outside, reduces stress, forces presence, tunes our vibrational frequency which ultimately leads to increases in the vibrational frequency we emit.

5. Sitting and Watching the Ocean

The ocean heals the physical space around us, clears our aura space, balances us and brings our inner being to the forefront. For some, it can evoke memories of experiences that need to be faced and processed.

6. Full Body Stretches

It surprises me how few people know what a full body stretch is. Most of us stretch our arms above and around us and that's it. I highly recommend everyone to search for full body stretches online. These reduce back pain, strengthen the lower back and joints, increase flexibility, improves the flow of energy throughout our body, and momentarily alleviates tension in the body.

7. Dancing

Similar to playing with animals, dancing evokes the inner child in us. It allows the inner child in all of us (our true self and inner being) to come out and play. If you find yourself restricting your dance (in privacy) or feeling like you shouldn't be dancing (I’m not talking about out of embarrassment because you don’t know how to dance here), this is indicative of you restricting your own soul from coming to the forefront and flowing freely. It also helps reduce stress, moves energy throughout the body, and releases pent up energy.

8. Creative Activities

I often recommend creative activities to people in my readings for good reasons. Creative activities include (but are not limited to) painting, drawing, crafting, building, writing, sketching, crocheting, etc. The activity that you pick should be something that zones you out. When you find the right activity, you can experience more presence, reduce stress, and rebalance the input and output of information. Most of us are completely out of balance by constantly having information coming in - from our phones, TV, the internet, etc, and have very little being produced outward. It can also bring about a meditative state, and creates a beautiful synergy of the physical, mind and spiritual. Creative activities that you enjoy are an outlet for your inner being.

9. Stargazing

I often refer to this as UFO hunting in my personal life because I absolutely love searching for crafts in the sky! Watching the stars heightens our awareness of our connection to source/God. It has an expansive effect in our heartspace by lowering the walls we often have up, create room for our inner being to be present, and can also provide room to gain new perceptions on issues we may be facing. For those who are sensitive to new moons and full moons, don't be alarmed by breakdowns and drastic mood swings. Stargazing can wait until these moon phases come to pass.

10. Laughter

Right after meditation, everyone and their mother knows that laughter is medicine, for good reason. Laughter heals for the same reason as any of these other activities by increasing the vibrational frequency but does it even better because it leaves no room for thinking. It momentarily brings down walls you've put up, suspends limiting beliefs, and creates a more open and receptive avenue to connect with your spiritual guides - who have a great sense of humor. Similar to dancing, if you find yourself instinctively trying to restrict the strength of your laughter, you may have some unchecked beliefs that you don't deserve happiness.

11. Looking for Beauty in Nature

If you're unsure what this practice is, it's essentially intentionally looking for beauty in nature. That can be anything from flowers and butterflies to the color of leaves on trees and the feel of the breeze. This activity is what I like to call "you bringing heaven to earth" by noticing the beauty in Earth itself. You cannot notice the beauty in nature without that beauty already existing within you. This practice improves your mood and sets your vibrational frequency similar to that of gratitude, which can also attract positive things in other aspects of your life!

12. Phone-Free Mornings, Evenings, and Outings

Removing your phone from your space and aura recalibrates your frequency, reduces anxiety (or highlights your addiction if it gives you anxiety being away from it), clears the mind and provides room for more rational thinking and new perceptions. Because removing phones from your vicinity for a period of time reduces the amount of incoming data (into your mind), you can become more present, your imagination and creativity has room to flourish, reduces pressure, gives you back more time and improves sleep quality. I highly suggest you never use your devices with a screen right before bed or in the middle of the night, and either set them in airplane mode or turn them off, if possible. People who go out without a phone can feel the difference.

13. Singing (positive, upbeat songs)

Singing is a great way to improve your mood, makes it easier to stay in a positive mood, react more positively to situations, allows more presence of your inner being, and makes it easier to bounce back from negative moments. Similar to dancing and playing with animals, it allows your inner child to come out and play.

14. Play Fighting

This is a great and often overlooked activity to do with your significant other or children. It brings presence in all participants and in the immediate environment. Play fighting often induces laughter, suspends the mind, allows participants to connect spiritually, which has a healing effect for everyone. Source/God is playful so never feel that you're too old to play!

15. Physical Work that Gets You Dirty

This is an unusual one to recommend, who would ever want to work and get dirty? This comes with the caveat that the work you choose isn't something you hate. Dirty physical labor breaks rigidity, can fan the flow of carefree energy, brings presence, reduces stress by exerting negative energy, and can shift your energetic frequency on an issue from "severely dislike" towards "acceptance". While it may not suspend thinking like laughter does, it does help reduce the buildup of negative emotions in the body from negative thinking. Some work can even be therapeutic! Shoveling snow tends to be therapeutic for me.

What about music?

Music could help if people chose upbeat music with positive lyrics, but most don't. Humans have an odd tendency to listen to music that makes them cry even more, build even thicker walls around their heart space and sometimes get downright angry. For these reasons, my guides didn't recommend music. It's very easy to start with something positive and have the shuffle feature take you right back to the direction you're trying to change course from.
