Law of Attraction and The Body

Yesterday I sat with my main guide, Shihad (and all my other wonderful guides), to touch base on the basics of the law of attraction. While there’s tons of information on the law of attraction out on the internet, I wanted to provide this Q&A that gives some disclaimers that may be missing for some and to focus the discussion on our bodies and health. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed the discussion!

Is the law of attraction real? If so, how does it work?

Yes, the law of attraction is real and is merely the same frequencies finding each other. Not even finding each other, they exist on the same plane. Imagine frequencies as parallel dimensions. Everything has a frequency. As your frequency moves up and down through the emotions you emit, the dimensions/realities shift to reflect that, and you experience more of what that reality holds. We don't mean 3D, 4D, 5D and the like. We're using the term 'dimensions' here to illustrate the law of attraction in a way that it can be understood.

Can you provide an example?

When you constantly worry, regardless of what the subject is, you'll match experiences that'll keep igniting worry. You are vibrating a frequency of worry and matching a reality/dimension that holds more worry. The world does not change for you to feel better. You feel better then you'll change the world. Most of the terrible stuff you see happening in the world is because of fear. We want to also make clear that many people take the word 'attraction' as a means of pulling an experience into their reality, and this is false. Pulling implies action to make something happen. What's really happening is you're allowing the reality to mirror your frequency and the experience to come in.

But isn't there some degree of action we must take?

Yes, but when it comes from a place of trying to make it happen, you are vibrating at a negative frequency, such as impatience, worry, fear, etc. Action can be taken when it's the next logical step and the 'making it happen' out of desperation isn't there. For example, you want to lose weight. Going to the gym and forcing yourself to exercise 2 hrs a day and then starving yourself because that's how someone else did it isn't going to allow a healthy body weight to manifest. When you think of food in terms of what my body needs (nutritional value) and exercise in terms of love for your body and both as investments in yourself without the begrudging feeling, you are then pointing in the direction of allowing.

Is there something else that people often misunderstand with the law of attraction?

There is a missing disclaimer that many people tend to overlook: the path of your soul. When people say "follow your heart", it means following the path the real you has planned out prior to being born. Not every aspect of your life is predestined, you have a lot of free will and wiggle room, and even the things you (as a soul) choose that your brain can't fathom to understand is part of free will, because you (as a soul) still chose it. You are not your thinking.

How do you know if it's your heart or brain speaking?

Start by looking at the why (you want something). If it's for egoic reasons, it's the brain. Coming from the heart will bring pure joy that isn't derived from the ego and is often accompanied by a physical sensation. Goosebumps and shivers are common. [I (Nahid) personally experience a burning in my chest/heart space].

Can you tie the law of attraction to the body?

Healing occurs at a high frequency, and instantaneously healing is merely you being connected directly, openly and without any obstructions to source energy/God. Merely turning towards the direction of that frequency is often enough to start the healing process. No healing is harder than another. A cold is not easier than a tumor for God/source energy. There is no hardness - that is only what we (humans) define and those beliefs can become an obstruction.

Giving an example of my own.

This is Nahid speaking here. I wanted to give an example to highlight what my guide(s) have laid out so far. I had a headache one evening that I thought perhaps a good night's sleep would alleviate, only to wake up with it worse than the previous night. It very quickly was morphing into a migraine. At some point, I don't recall why or how it started, I caught myself daydreaming something positive and I noticed that the pain was lifting. Then I went into negative thinking and the pain worsened. Noticing the difference, I played around with my thoughts for the next few minutes and the pain reflected the direction of my thoughts. I decided right then and there that I would do my very best to stay in a positive mindset and mood, and even asked my daughter to not complain when she gets home from school. My headache dulled enough (and quite quickly) that I was able to work like normal and by that afternoon, it was completely gone. I've done this same method with subsequent headaches and the occasional toothache, and it has yet to fail. Play around with it and see what you can do. Be positive and happy for the sake of it (and get off the topic of the pain).

What about babies who are born with health issues or people who have terrible accidents and become disabled?

It's impossible to give a response without looking at these on a case-by-case basis. Sometimes a baby is born, sees and senses enough of this world, and decides to leave. Sometimes the soul of a sick child makes an agreement with his/her parents to go through this experience as a lesson for the parents. There are so many lessons that a soul can learn through health hardships, and in some cases, it could be a rebalancing of karma, not just from this lifetime but from past lifetimes.

Can you provide some examples of lessons we learn at the soul level or karma being rebalanced?

There can be the lesson of letting go, having hope, understanding what it feels like to be stared at or perhaps made fun of (especially if you were the one making fun of someone else in a past life), learning to trust your own intuition instead of doctors, healing yourself, not burdening yourself with guilt, and so on. It's quite endless. For karma, if you attacked someone in a past life where they became disabled or disfigured, that victim may be doing it to you in this lifetime. We are hesitant to go deep into karma at this time because we don't want people to live in fear, but we do want to highlight it so that should a situation occur that this possibility alleviates some victimhood mentality.

What about people who eat horribly and are healthy?

Most are not healthy, and you can often see it catch up to them as time passes. This is also the case when athletes suddenly experience a heart attack or cardiac arrest. Some are healthy because health is all they know; it's what they vibrate. Others chose to have healthy bodies in this lifetime. In other words, health (hardships) is not a theme they're focusing on in this lifetime, while those who do experience hardships chose it as a lifelong theme or an experience. Sometimes experiencing an unhealthy body is the result and byproduct of a lesson they need to learn (but have not yet) - such as putting yourself first.

So what happens if what we want is different than what our souls want? For example, my soul chose not to have children in this lifetime but I want to have at least one.

The soul overrides the brain, because you are the soul. Humans often think they are their mind, and they're not. If a woman really wants children but her soul has chosen not to have any, she is not listening to her heart. It could be that she wants them because it's expected of her or because she doesn't want to be lonely when she gets older or because people around her are having children. What the heart wants and what the soul has planned are always in alignment.

Is there anything else you'd like people to know about the law of attraction and our bodies?

Yes, a couple things. Just because you chose a medical hardship doesn't mean you're doomed. There are people who choose to leave Earth that way but in many cases, the lesson may be to learn and come to an understanding of how you and your body can heal itself. If you're reading this, you've arrived at a place where you are open to more than what you've been told in conventional means, and your level of awareness is growing. That is essential for learning about yourself, your power and ability to heal.

We also want to make a point that your physical bodies, at the cellular level, are very sensitive and responsive. Not just to disease and foreign bodies entering different bodily systems but also to your emotions. Stress wreaks havoc on the body and poisons your own cells. No, it doesn't mean you're killing yourself but you certainly are obstructing the flow of health and wellness.

We would like people to appreciate negative emotions for the insight they give you (e.g. what you don't want, negative beliefs you're holding onto, etc), but try not to take life too seriously. You are in these physical bodies only momentarily and while it's important to take care of them, your mental health (emotions, thought patterns, beliefs) are just as important, if not more. Most adults seem to have forgotten what it feels like to have fun that is pure joy. We would like to encourage you to take some time and just play. There is nothing that will direct you towards higher vibrations - where all the wonderful things you wish to experience - like pure joy, love, playfulness and peace.
