Put The Screens Away & Get Some Sleep
I’ve been noticing that I’ve been needing to sleep longer these past several weeks. The past two months have brought some big changes in my life, and while I get 7-8 hours of sleep every night, my body was still craving more. Unsurprisingly, the topic of sleep kept knocking on my mind as the next Q&A discussion with my spirit guides. Some of this reassured what I already knew, but I also finally understood why emotional breakdowns made me so sleepy. While the conversation appears short, I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to be in tune with your body. In addition to our emotions and intuition, we (as souls) also communicate with our ego and conscious mind through our bodies. Keep reading to find out what I (and my guides) mean by this.
Why is sleep so important?
Sleep is important not just for the body to perform routine maintenance, regenerate and rest but also for the spirit. It allows our bodies a chance to re-balance its frequency and return to its natural state for a few hours every night. The less we sleep, the lower our frequency remains, especially in times of heavy negativity. When you are consumed in ego or having frequent breakdowns, many get sleepy and/or tired, and this is because the ego is suppressing the high frequency (through negative thinking) your soul/body wants to vibrate at. The urge to sleep and rest is your body’s signal that it wants to restore its true frequency. Bodies breakdown faster and don't work optimally when surviving on little sleep. On the flip side, if someone were to vibrate consistently at a very high frequency, that which is their core self's frequency, they would naturally need less sleep. Most of the human population, however, are consumed by their ego's negative thinking. Sensitive people can find themselves drained after being out for a few hours around people, especially in large crowds, and this is their cue to rest and sleep. Sleep will help release others' energy from your body and energy field and also re-calibrate your own energetic frequency.
Does anything else happen during sleep that makes it important?
Aside from traveling during sleep and the knowledge that comes with that, you also receive light codes similar to the way a computer upgrades "off hours" while other programs aren't running in the background.
What are light codes?
It's just a name. They're little "patches" of DNA upgrades that restore your DNA closer to what it initially was. Your DNA has an effect on your body at the cellular level. These light codes can be facilitated through the sun, other intergalactic beings, sometimes Mother Earth, but that's rare. [All light codes are ultimately from Source/God itself.] These patches aren't given to you as a gift but more so returned to you. You are the image of God and these light codes incrementally return you to the natural state prior to your environment negatively altering it through various means (nefarious galactic beings, chemicals in your water and food, technology/social media, etc.).
Are these light codes given to us to help awaken us spiritually?
These light codes are received simultaneously to your spiritual growth, otherwise the mind will suppress (like a cloud or wall) the ever-growing authenticity of your true nature [spirit]. This can cause a severe inner conflict between hanging onto the ego and its old belief system and the soul's desire to express itself and direct you. On the physical realm, these light codes prepare and transform your body to allow it to hold more light [high vibration life force/God/source energy]. Without the body being prepared, you wouldn’t be able to ascend within the same body.
Are there any downsides to sleep, as weird as that is to ask?
People can use sleep as a distracting mechanism to avoid their inner selves or what's happening in their life. They will (or at least should) face it one way or another. Burying pain, negative emotions, and trauma lowers your overall frequency and hinders spiritual growth. As you grow spiritually and your frequency rises, those traumas and pain can no longer survive in the body so they will come up to the surface to be processed. When facing and processing them, sleep can be healing. [And facing them does not mean getting into a cyclical pattern of thinking about them, emotionally breaking down and repeating.]
Have you ever asked yourself why you need eight hours of sleep (instead of 1 or 2)? That's something to ponder.
